Terms of service
Gasket Digital ("we", "us") designs, builds and hosts websites with booking systems for service businesses. By ordering a website, requesting an estimate or using this site, you agree to the terms below.
What you get
There is one thing we sell: a built website with a booking flow suited to your trade, and a monthly that covers hosting and every change you ask for. What is included is the version shown on the pricing page when you order — we will tell you plainly if something you ask for later falls outside it, and price it separately before doing any work.
Your site, your domain
You own the domain you connect to your site. We do not lock a client into our hosting — if you leave, we will help you point your domain elsewhere rather than make that difficult.
Billing
Plans are billed monthly or yearly, as chosen at checkout, through Stripe. Billing is month to month unless you choose yearly billing, which is priced lower in exchange for the year’s commitment. We do not increase your price mid-term without telling you first.
What we need from you
A working build depends on you supplying accurate business details (services, hours, service area, pricing where relevant) and responding to scope questions in reasonable time. Delays on your end can delay your launch date.
Acceptable use
You will not use your site to host or link to illegal content, to impersonate another business, or to collect customer payment or identity data outside what your website is built to handle securely. We may suspend a site that violates this while we sort it out with you.
Liability
We build and maintain the site in good faith and fix what we break. We are not liable for lost business arising from third-party outages (Cloudflare, Stripe, email delivery) outside our control, though we will work to restore service quickly and tell you what happened.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business grows. Material changes that affect an active account will be communicated to you before they take effect.
The 72-hour guarantee, refunds & cancellation
Cancel any time, no lock-in. It is month to month unless you specifically chose yearly billing. Cancelling stops the next charge — there is no cancellation fee.
The 72-hour guarantee
Any change to your live site is done within 72 hours of you asking, or that month’s fee is refunded. That covers adding, removing, moving or rewording anything on it — text, photos, prices, services, pages, your opening hours, the questions your booking form asks. You ask in the portal or the chat; the clock starts when we receive it.
Some things are bigger than a change — a new system, a new integration, a rebuild of how your bookings work. For those we give you a completion date in writing before any work starts, and the same promise applies to that date: if we miss it, that month’s fee is refunded. We will always tell you up front which of the two you are asking for, so there is never a surprise about which clock is running.
The honest small print, because a guarantee with hidden edges is not worth having:
- 72 hours means three calendar days from when we receive the request.
- If we are waiting on something from you — photos, wording, a password, an answer — the clock pauses until it arrives. We will say so clearly at the time, not afterwards.
- One refunded month per missed deadline. It is not cumulative across several requests in the same month.
- The guarantee covers work on a site we built and host. It does not cover a third party’s outage, a domain registrar, a payment provider, or anything we do not control.
- We can decline a request — anything unlawful, anything that would break the site, or anything we honestly think is not worth your money. If we decline, we say so within 72 hours and nothing is charged for it.
The monthly
Cancel from the portal or by asking us in the chat. Your site and booking system stay live through the end of the billing period you already paid for, then stop renewing. No partial-month refund is given for a period already in progress, but nothing further is charged.
The one-time build charge
The build fee is a one-time amount covering the initial build, charged separately from the monthly. If you cancel before any build work has started, that amount is refunded in full. Once work has started, we refund the portion of it not yet earned, based on what stage the build has reached — we will always tell you the number before it happens, not after.
Disputes
If something feels wrong with a charge, talk to us first — the chat on the site or the contacts below reach a real person, and most things get sorted the same day. We would rather refund a charge than have you go to your card company.
Privacy policy
What we collect
When you request an estimate, order a website, or use the support chat, we collect what you give us directly: name, business name, email, phone number, and the details of what you are asking for. If you become a client, we also store the site content and booking information needed to run your booking system.
What we don’t collect
We do not sell or share your information with advertisers. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
- To build and run the site and booking system you ordered
- To reply to you, in the support chat or by email about your own request
- To send you the account and billing notices Stripe and our system generate (booking confirmations, receipts, sign-in codes)
Transactional email (sign-in codes, booking notifications, receipts) is sent from a no-reply address and cannot receive a reply — if you write back to it, nothing is read. The support chat on the site, and your portal if you are a client, are the two channels we actually watch.
Cookies & sessions
Signing in sets a session cookie so you stay signed in, and, optionally, a longer-lived device cookie if you choose "keep me signed in." Neither is used for advertising or tracking across other sites.
Your data, your control
You can ask us at any time to see what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it once you are no longer an active client. Reach us through the chat or the contacts below.
Contact
The chat on the site (bottom right) is read by a real person and is the fastest way to reach us. For anything else:
